Well stated! I agree. I knew personally all the Presidents mentioned. We must stand up AND support the college of love and charity.

You've got a full AMEN from me Brother. FAMU Students, Alumni, FL community leaders and any/all those with a voice and vision for FAMU must and should speak up. I know you always walk the talk. Keep your megaphone loud and eyes in the back of your head on this one classmate. Et Facta Est Lux!

Great take. This is colonization by another name and by an alternative means. I don’t give AF when people when people place the title of race baiter on me. When “white” became a construct in the 1600s everything transitioned to being about color. If they stop it then I will.

We have a young Republican, he's 34 now but was 33 when he was elected in Nov 2023, Mayor. I didn't vote for him. But over the last year I've really come to like, admire, and respect him. He's not MAGA in fact he seldom, that I've seen, even mentions political things. He's ALL about the city, which is the largest, 38,513, in our county in NW Indiana. He's has a BIG FB presence and people, for the most part R or D, really like him & what he's doing for the city. He's what I describe as a "people person". By that I mean he seeks out what the community wants and listens to the feedback. He also has a BIG presence in the community, doesn't just sit in his office and be unapproachable. So far, I'd actually vote for him next time.

PS: He DID NOT endorse Trump in the last election and during that time did not mention the political climate going on, that I saw, on his social media presence.
