Well said my brother. I often have these conversations with my friends and family. I’m always wondering if young people are paying attention to the many issues that the world faces along with the plight of our people here in America. I think there are some bright young minds out here that are cognizant of the issues. I just hope they are, like we were, respectful of those who blazed the trail and seek guidance with reverence to our historical plight.

Time will tell. It told me about you and your contemporaries, just like it told Dr. Mays about King, Steele, Abernathy and others.

You had daily contact with me and my friends when we were knuckleheads, and we turned out pretty decently thanks to mentors like you!

Great insight and summary as always. Not only makes me want to pick up a copy, but also encourage you to continue to 'cry out in cyberspace' and drop these nuggets for our young. Some will receive it, others will plant it deep and act like they aren't listening. Many will dispute it as old fashioned and out dated while fact checking it in private...which means they had to hold onto it for a reason or a season. We both know the future Morehouse men will carry the "Can't tell them much" banner honest and true. May the seeds we sow grow in them and spawn different fruit. I know you will remain 'steadfast honest true' to your historical record, research, and passion for the written word. In the words of my brother and spoken word artist Mike-E "I'd rather inspire one than mislead a million!"
