Sounds like legitimate legal grounds backing their suit. I hope they are successful.

All things being equal, with zero extraneous background concerns about the candidate, and the FAMU Board, the idea that a “non-traditional” college President be chosen, and with zero qualifications otherwise TO assume such a position, the BARE MINIMUM salary for the position should be the maximum salary offer to ANY candidate, no matter the race, gender, or background of such a “non-traditional” choice. Talk about “corporate welfare”, this compensation package is a carnival sign of grift and potential graft and, out of the gate, puts any such President in the position to “reward” their political and ideological backers and benefactors to the detriment of FAMU, its reputation, quality, and students and faculty.
