Very wise words. I appreciate reading your thoughts, very much. My condolences on those thoughts being towards a young friend gone too soon. If he had your regards you express in your post, he is a big loss to the world.
May his wife and son follow in a path where you see his reflection.
Beautiful! Hurricane Milton prevented Carlita, Aaron, and I from getting together this weekend as planned so I was bummed, but I'm eternally grateful for you always remembering and sharing. He's forever missed and forever loved.
I need to get the New Orleans Mardi Gras band Trip saved from the VHS, so I can get a screenshot of you sitting up under me and Chris while we ran a Boston on some folks in Spades 😂
He was one of the most talented musicians I've had the privilege of teaching. You and him together were the most pleasant "menacing duo" a band director could've ever asked for. The collective talent and competitive spirit between you two, coupled with the knack for mischief that you, Chris and the the rest of your classmates had a penchant for, made my job during that time the most exhilarating roller coaster ride a band director could imagine having. The memories of what we were able to accomplish will forever remain. Christopher Henry will surely be a part of those memories. Continue to RIP.

I'd like to see the video, too, although I'd be more interested in the performances than the card game!😉😄
Beautiful tribute.
