Once again another great post my brother. Your ability to simply the complex, shine light on the absurd with directness and diplomacy and breakdown the legal/editorial angles is always a joy to read. Only thing I can add to this is my favorite quote from 'Being There' starring Peter Sellers “It's for sure a white man's world in America. Look here: I raised that boy since he was the size of a piss-ant. And I'll say right now, he never learned to read and write. No, sir. Had no brains at all. Was stuffed with rice pudding between the ears. Shortchanged by the Lord, and dumb as a jackass. Look at him now! Yes, sir, all you've gotta be is white in America, to get whatever you want." Spoken by the house keeper who recalls the day Chance The Gardener as was known before he became Chauncey Gardner and made it all the way to the White House as she saw him on TV at the end of the film. We all know 45 has done more than 'being there' in some cases, but I must also admit my shock and awe at the gallery of hangers on around him that continue to support his antics and continued to multiply. I pray fiction will not become truth yet again for a second term in more ways that one...God help us!

It never crossed my mind that the appeal court jurists could have had concerns that another “January 6th styled chaotic event” would happen if Trump had his properties and accounts seized and frozen on camera - bad optics. And I know SCOTUS put Trump back on the ballot in Colorado because they didn’t want to usurp the will of “the people” in November. But which people are the courts beholden to? If Trump doesn’t get elected, these courts won’t be able to prevent “the bloodbath”.

Although your point of view is more lawyerly, and I appreciate your EXTREMELY, nigh on Jesus personified, charitable view of the outrageous Appeals Court's "judge"ment towards TFG, the parsing they gave to their actions that basically said, "we can't bear to see the criminals running Trump Org, and the poor unfortunates who all then would be thrown out on the street, should the judgement of Mudge Engoron stand!!"...fearing of violent response from MAGAts is going TO happen every verdict that happens against him so that, what then should the response be if ever, an actual Federal criminal decision is brought against him?

Either: we must expect violent reprisals after theoretical verdicts against him, or judges who rule based on fear OF violent responses to those verdicts?🤨

Sadly, BECAUSE of this massive curtailment of this bond condition, there are now more people than there are followers of the Orange Cult who have real fears, and anticipations of NO verdict against the most corrupt political figure in American history. 🤷‍♂️ Between unreliable juries, and a timetable that will run into years long span, justice delayed is justice denied and an exhausted, disinterested populace and still fawning core of believers with a solid backstop of favorable majority of high court figures willing to curry favor, there can no longer be a surety that he will face his legal dues.

I say: call their bluff. Sooner rather than later. We all will see though.
