News outlets want to be first, not worried about being first with the right info. ShadeRoom as a resource for news for a lot of our under 21 brothers and sisters is DANGEROUS. Propaganda in the US for this War is even more dangerous.

Good points in your post. We do have access to 24/7 news channels, but they get stuck on 2-3 stories that are repeated by every “news person”. Nearest to Walter Cronkite ( my Daddy’s favorite) is Lester Holt. I read various news articles on the internet and my son is also very current and provides me with information. I will not comment on the Israel war on Facebook as keyboard warriors will attack. And it is too large an issue for a little blip in the comments section. Anyway keep writing. I read daily and “chew on it” throughout the day.

Good read. People don't want the news.... it can be gritty, painful and depressing. They want to be entertained.

I was dumbstruck by the Palestine article. It is probably the best article on the topic to date. I say that because I remember learning some of it when I was small (you are the age of my oldest child). I had mostly Jewish teachers back then. Now, some of what you wrote is considered incendiary and sacrilegious. The winners get to write history, and frankly, I am scared of Netanyahu and his followers.

I am still kind of amazed when i relay information to someone about something...anything from animal care to news stories to recipes!....that they don't do an internet search on their own to add to, confirm or challenge this info. Right in their hands but they don't expand. It seems there is too much to ingest so they take a bite of this and a bite of that and call it good.
