I have a good friend who coached pee-wee football. He quit after the boyfriend of one the kid's mom, threatened him and another coach. When the parents questioned what would happen to the team with no coaches, my friend and his fellow coaches reminded them they should have thought of that beforehand. RIP Coach Hickmon.
It's interesting to me that the party of 'law and order' has a problem with following the law and have become lawless. That thin blue line is getting thinner and thinner.
On March 7, 2015, my friend and I took her kids to events commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery march. I literally ran into Julian Bond afterwards and he was nice enough to speak with the kids. I was so glad that we got that picture.

Youth sports have always brought out the best and worst of us. Such a sad loss for Coach Hickmon's family, players and community...
Sadly, so true!
Great pic with Brother Bond! May he RIP!
