And i have to add that white people only thrive on hierarchy to mask their feelings of inadequacy and insecurity. They have lost the truth within. It is a generational "trauma" passed down over centuries.

White women, as all whites generally, thrive on hierarchy. White women have adjacency to power via white men. Other white women are seen as threats to that adjacency. Therefore they do not trust other white women. And a black woman really upends the power dynamic. No white man, but a powerful black woman who holds her own. Therefore the white women have no foothold and feel threatened.

Most women are not ready for a woman president but will not admit it. We underestimate how strong patriarchy is in this country. Remember: the majority of Black and minority women had to work bc their men were discriminated against here. White women knew little of what it is like to have to carry- in some cases— a generation of people on “ little “ money. There is status being the partner of a white man. White women know that and preserve it.
