Lengthy jury deliberations may end up in a hung jury. And I don't think the fed will spend the resources on a retrial. They have bigger fish to fry. Just my opinion.

As I was saying. Most times, if a jury can't come to definitive decision within the first hours of deliberation, and the deliberation takes days of discussion, most likely the jury will be hung or an acquittal is in the workings. Just so you know, I'm not an attorney, but I slept in a Holiday Inn. ;-)
